Privacy
Bloom is built around a simple principle: your breath, your garden, your data. We collect as little as possible, never sell it, and keep as much as we can on your device.
Your practice data stays on your device
Everything you create in the Bloom app — your breathing sessions, focus sessions, plants grown, streaks, breath scores, and settings — is stored locally on your iPhone. We do not operate a server that receives or stores this data, and we cannot see it.
Purchases and subscriptions
Bloom offers an optional paid subscription (Bloom Premium). All payments are processed by Apple through the App Store — we never see or receive your name, card details, or payment information.
To unlock the features you've purchased and keep them in sync, we use RevenueCat, a subscription-management service. RevenueCat receives a randomly generated app user ID, your purchase and subscription status, and basic device and app information (such as device model, operating system version, and country). This information is used solely to deliver and restore your purchases. It is not tied to your identity and is never used for advertising.
Analytics and advertising
Bloom contains no advertising, no ad trackers, and no behavioural profiling. Aside from the subscription information above, we do not collect analytics that identify you.
Notifications
If you enable reminders, they are scheduled locally on your device. We do not send push notifications from a server.
Sharing
When you share a bloom from the app, the image is created entirely on your device and handed to iOS's share sheet. Bloom does not see, store, or transmit shared content.
Waitlist (this website)
If you submit your email to the launch waitlist on this site, we use it only to notify you about Bloom. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Children's privacy
Bloom is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Your rights
Because your practice data lives on your device, you can delete it at any time by deleting the app. To request deletion of any subscription record or to ask a privacy question, contact us below.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as Bloom evolves. Material changes will be reflected by the "last updated" date above.
